Coco and the Lost is the project of an artist who sees pop as a storytelling medium: playful, cinematic, and emotionally layered. Raised in a creative environment where music was ever-present, she developed an early sensitivity to stories, characters, and atmosphere. Her father worked as a sound engineer and producer, giving her insight into studio sessions from a young age and allowing her to experience artists up close.

Her sound draws from a wide range of influences: classic musicals meet contemporary pop, cinematic imagery meets introspective songwriting. Artists like Lady Gaga sit alongside visual artists and filmmakers, from Tracey Emin and Louise Bourgeois to David Lynch. This blend is reflected in her work: Coco doesn’t just write songs, she builds worlds.

Her upcoming debut album "Modern Lover Girl" (out on September 25) came together over the course of around six months - initially unplanned, but gradually revealing itself as a cohesive body of work. What began as a loose collection of ideas evolved into an album exploring identity, mental states, and the search for connection. It started from an almost abstract premise - a love story with a robot - but transformed into something deeply personal: a narrative about losing control, finding yourself, and healing through real human connection. Coco’s songs function like individual scenes: fragmented, emotionally charged, and open to interpretation. She describes her artistic DNA as “surreal, cinematic, fun, bittersweet and introspective” - a tension that runs through everything she creates. Her lyrics move between humor and vulnerability. Even when writing from the perspective of characters, her work remains inherently autobiographical - “even when I think it’s not,” as she puts it.
