SUMMARY;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Uchronia: Parallel histories of queer revolt | OmeU
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Fil Ieropoulos (GR/NL, 2026, 97′)=0D=0ASprache: Englisch, Französisch, Deutsch Untertitel: Englisch=0D=0A=0D=0AAusgehend von Rimbauds Gedicht „Eine Zeit in der Hölle“ von 1873=0D=0Abegibt sich dieses filmische Essay auf eine Reise durch alternative=0D=0AZeitstränge („Uchronien“) und begegnet dabei historischen Figuren=0D=0Awie Emma Goldman, Marsha P. Johnson und David Wojnarowicz. Welche=0D=0AHandlungsspielräume für Widerstand gibt es in unsicher werdenden=0D=0AZeiten? Wie gehen wir mit Demagog*innen und „Bad Gays“ um, die den=0D=0Agesellschaftlichen Zerfall mit faschistischen Ideen und=0D=0Atechnokratischem Feudalismus vorantreiben? Sind wir davor gefeit,=0D=0Aselbst destruktiven Tendenzen zu verfallen? Ein Film, der viele=0D=0Arelevante Fragen stellt, aber auch Denkanstöße bietet und das queere=0D=0Aexperimentelle Kino sowie seine Dissident*innen zelebriert.=0D=0A=0D=0ADrawing on Rimbaud’s 1873 poem ‘A Season in Hell’, this=0D=0Acinematic essay embarks on a journey through alternative timelines=0D=0A(‘uchronias’), encountering historical figures such as Emma=0D=0AGoldman, Marsha P. Johnson and David Wojnarowicz along the way. What=0D=0Ascope for resistance remains in times of growing uncertainty? How do=0D=0Awe deal with demagogues and ‘bad gays’ who are driving social=0D=0Adisintegration with fascist ideas and technocratic feudalism? Are we=0D=0Aimmune to succumbing to destructive tendencies ourselves? A film that=0D=0Aposes many relevant questions, but also offers food for thought and=0D=0Acelebrates queer experimental cinema and its dissidents.=0D=0A
