Manfred the bin man has had enough: every morning, he picks up the rubbish that people simply throw on the ground in Hinterland. One day, he has an idea: he builds a robot that is supposed to collect the rubbish and keep the city clean. Everyone is delighted with the funny robot. But instead of thanking him for picking up the rubbish, people throw even more rubbish at him. The robot becomes so sad that he breaks down from sheer sadness. Anyone who wants to find out how Schrubbi Schrubber can be repaired and what a rubbish rap sounds like when performed by the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra can do so at this fairy-tale concert. A piece with fun pop songs to listen to and sing along with.
