Oh Europa! Dangerous Games - Das Eröffnungsstück von Fringify (ab 14 Jahre)

“OH EUROPE!” The cry for the missing princess from ancient mythology still resonates today: The daughter of King Agenor and Queen Telephassa was abducted; they sent their other children to search for her, but none returned. The German-Italian duo TÒ SU (Martina Mahlknecht & Martin Prinoth) interprets the founding myth of the European continent as a parable for the current realities of displacement: Even those seeking Europe today risk their lives and must expect never to see their families again. In this multimedia documentary, five people with refugee experience use virtual reality to reconstruct their perilous attempts to cross Europe's external borders and share their vision of Europe.

Accessibility: Subtitles in English, Arabic and Persian.

The »Fringify – Independent Arts Festival Hamburg« showcases works at various locations that question conventions, combine disciplines and address aesthetic, political and social marginalities.
