Who will stop Nikki Pop ?
Bedroom producer “ Nikki Pop ” tells stories of militant bicycle gangs and stray city cats, of dares in cemeteries and amorous daydreams under the kitchen table.
Accompanied by compositions that are sometimes playful and dreamy, sometimes mysterious and dark, musical stories are created to experience, empathize with and dance along to.
The long-awaited debut album "ABC's", after "Nikki Pop" almost stopped herself several times, is finally almost here! Two singles "Tanz der Vampire" and "Im Tunnel" have already been released, and the third "LUCA" will follow shortly, available wherever music is sold.
Golden Retriever , expecting far too much while it's still possible, is the motto of this Hamburg-based indie band. Their German lyrics explore the tension between the grueling, mundane aspects of everyday life and the escape into the vast, dark night. This tension is also reflected musically, ranging from jangly, driving song sections to dreamy, melancholic harmonies of reverberating guitars.
