Stammheim/Treibkalb
Treibkalb, originally a side project of Stammheim, was active in the Hanover industrial scene in the 90s before both projects went on hiatus in the mid-2000s. Now back live, their current work "Lingchi" takes its name from an execution method practised in China until 1904. Classic power electronics, demanding in sound and image, but definitely a show that can't be seen everywhere or every day.
Gregory Büttner
Gregory Büttner is a Hamburg-based musician and artist working in sound art and electroacoustic composition since 2000, performing at festivals across Europe, China and Chile. In concert he plays with small external loudspeakers and objects, whose resonances modulate the sounds. He also performs in duos with Birgit Ulher, Simon Whetham and Gunnar Lettow. Tonight's concert features 10 mini sound stations distributed and repositioned throughout the room, turning the speakers into acoustic objects and 'instruments'.
