Hamburg Art Week

Hamburg Art Week

Hamburg Art Week is a festival for contemporary art, bringing together numerous players in Hamburg's art scene. Museums, art institutions, galleries, off-spaces, independent initiatives, and collections participate with a diverse program at various locations throughout the city.

Visitors can explore permanent and special exhibitions, as well as experience performances, talks, happenings, and other event formats. The program is complemented by curated art routes that connect different exhibition venues and offer insights into current positions and trends in contemporary art.

Hamburg Art Week thus creates a space for encounters between established institutions, experimental art venues, and local and international artists. It invites visitors to discover the diversity of Hamburg's art scene and experience contemporary art from different perspectives.
