From June 29 to July 1, 2026, Hamburg’s Rathausmarkt will transform into the Future Garden: an open meeting place in the heart of the city, serving as a joint event of Hamburg Sustainability Week and the Hamburg Sustainability Conference.
Amid greenery, opportunities to linger, and diverse activity areas, visitors can expect a varied program centered on shaping a sustainable future. Hamburg-based initiatives, companies, organizations, political representatives, and other stakeholders invite you to workshops, panel discussions, hands-on activities, as well as cultural and culinary offerings. The live stream of the concurrently taking place Hamburg Sustainability Conference at City Hall will also be broadcast outdoors.
Whether it’s regional food, repair services in the spirit of the circular economy, engaging conversations with experts, or simply a relaxing break in the heart of the city—the Future Garden offers space to discover, exchange ideas, and linger.
