What's actually in the paint pot or tube? Painters and restorers show how paints are made from ground dry pigments and different binders.
Under the guidance of painters and restorers, our (young) visitors can try their hand at using brushes and stencils and, for example, take home a self-designed paper carrier bag.
We'll show you how to draw a straight line on the wall without masking tape, or how to transfer a design onto the wall using a stencil. All of this, of course, using paints made according to historical recipes!
