DANCE IN SCHOOL - BASICS AND METHODS
Tuesday, 03/11/2026 / 06:30 PM / WIESE e.G.
For teachers and educators who are gaining their first experience or who wish to work with dance in schools, experienced local and international choreographers provide practical insights into their artistic work. In doing so, they teach basic concepts, methods and areas of application for guiding improvisation, developing choreographies and discussing dance following a performance.
Gitta Barthel opens the workshop with the fundamentals and concludes it with reflection and feedback methods. The duo Rykena / Jüngst demonstrate how they work in a diversity-sensitive way with and through the body. Finally, Fernanda Ortiz and Katharina de Andrade Ruiz draw parallels between visual arts and dance and share practical experience for cross-curricular teaching. Part of the training course involves attending a performance of “Switch generation!” by Nora Elberfeld and Regina Rossi. The performance is an additional event taking place outside the Tuesday session series. The performance dates will be announced at the start of the course.
No previous experience required | the training series can only be booked consecutively | a ticket is valid for the entire training series and must be presented on the first day.
