Bergedorf malt Vielfalt – Unser Grundgesetz in Bildern

  • for families and kids
  • for senior citizens

What does freedom feel like? What does togetherness mean to you? And what makes our society diverse? Everyone is invited to creatively reflect on these questions and share their own ideas in this participatory project.

The focus is on a large community pennant chain project: Everyone can design one or more pennants. Whether with colors, words, or symbols, the small flags are inspired by the values of the Basic Law such as dignity, freedom, equality, diversity, and respect, and make visible what defines our coexistence. No prior knowledge is needed – just a desire to participate.

The project is aimed at people of all ages. Children can playfully work with colors and stencils, while teenagers and adults can contribute their own thoughts and messages.

School classes, initiatives, and groups can also participate in advance: We provide pennants and materials, which can be picked up from us after prior registration. This allows for creative contributions to be made beforehand, which will later become part of the large collaborative project.

For inquiries, please email : Sarah Schneider, engagiert@koerber-stiftung.de

Note: The finished flag chains must be returned by May 29, 2026 , so that they can be hung up in time.

The finished pennants are then hung in a prominent location in Bergedorf, making the shared values visible to everyone.
