SUMMARY;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Zurück in die Zukunft - Das Musical
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:DELOREAN APPROACHING THE REEPERBAHN: BACK TO THE FUTURE – THE=0D=0AMUSICAL FROM SPRING 2026 IN HAMBURG=0D=0A=0D=0AStage Entertainment brings the wacky adventure of Marty McFly and Doc=0D=0ABrown to the stage. The legendary time travel adventure in the=0D=0Aworld-famous DeLorean promises an electrifying musical spectacle full=0D=0Aof impressive effects, iconic characters, and plenty of humor. The=0D=0Aaward-winning musical sensation BACK TO THE FUTURE – The Musical=0D=0Acelebrates its German premiere in spring 2026 at the Stage=0D=0AOperettenhaus in Hamburg.=0D=0A=0D=0AThis story is an absolute classic! Marty McFly is a typical 80s=0D=0Ateenager: a skateboarder, a rock 'n' roll fan, and totally fed up with=0D=0Ahis parents. One day, his best friend, Dr. Emmett Brown, accidentally=0D=0Asends him on a time-traveling adventure. Thanks to a DeLorean=0D=0Aconverted into a time machine, Marty suddenly finds himself back in=0D=0A1955. To fix the present, he has to escape the past and send=0D=0Ahimself... back to the future... because before he can return to 1985,=0D=0AMarty has to make his teenage parents fall in love to ensure his own=0D=0Asurvival. A race against time begins.=0D=0A=0D=0AThe cult film "Back to the Future" from 1985, starring Michael J. Fox=0D=0Aas Marty McFly and Christopher Lloyd as Dr. Emmett Brown, is one of=0D=0Athe greatest classics in film history, having grossed $360.6 million=0D=0Aworldwide and continuing to captivate generations of fans. Its success=0D=0Acontinues with the musical version: BACK TO THE FUTURE – The Musical=0D=0Astays true to the original with its witty dialogue and has won=0D=0Anumerous awards, including the prestigious Olivier Award for Best New=0D=0AMusical. The show broke box office records and has generated=0D=0Aenthusiasm worldwide. Following its world premiere in Manchester in=0D=0A2020 and its successful West End premiere in London in 2021, BACK TO=0D=0ATHE FUTURE – The Musical is now coming to Hamburg.=0D=0A=0D=0ABACK TO THE FUTURE – The Musical was written by Bob Gale, co-writer=0D=0Aof the film trilogy, and features new music and lyrics by Emmy and=0D=0AGrammy Award winners Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard. Silvestri also=0D=0Acomposed the iconic film score for the series. Alongside the new=0D=0Asongs, the musical also includes beloved hits from the blockbuster,=0D=0Aincluding "The Power of Love" (Huey Lewis & The News), "Earth Angel"=0D=0A(Marvin Berry & The Starlighters), and "Johnny B. Goode" (Chuck=0D=0ABerry). It is directed by Tony Award winner John Rando.=0D=0A=0D=0ABob Gale: “To quote Marty McFly: You’re ready for this – and=0D=0Ayour kids will love it! If Bob Zemeckis and I had time-traveled back=0D=0Ain 1980 and told our younger selves that the script we were=0D=0Adesperately working on back then would become a hit musical 43 years=0D=0Alater, they would have thrown us out of the office and thought we were=0D=0Acrazy. But sometimes crazy ideas lead to great entertainment – and=0D=0Anow Bob and I can’t wait to share our musical with the Hamburg=0D=0Aaudience. Whether you’ve seen the original film or not, BACK TO THE=0D=0AFUTURE – THE Musical, with its outstanding performances and=0D=0Abreathtaking stagecraft, will thrill and captivate you, your children,=0D=0Ayour parents – everyone!”=0D=0A=0D=0AThanks to a multi-award-winning creative team, including Tim Hatley=0D=0A(set and costume design), Tim Lutkin and Hugh Vanstone (lighting=0D=0Adesign), and Gareth Owen (sound design), the musical impresses with=0D=0Asuperb graphic and lighting design, spectacular set design, and=0D=0Ainnovative, top-notch special effects. The audience is right there=0D=0Awith Marty and Doc as they race across the stage at 140 km/h through a=0D=0Athunderstorm, narrowly escaping and breaking through the space-time=0D=0Acontinuum. A particularly impressive feature is the life-size=0D=0ADeLorean. The choreography is by Chris Bailey, musical supervision by=0D=0ANick Finlow, and illusions created by Chris Fisher.=0D=0A=0D=0AUschi Neuss, Managing Director of Stage Entertainment Germany: “With=0D=0ABACK TO THE FUTURE – The Musical, we are bringing one of the=0D=0Agreatest cult films of all time to Germany as a spectacular live=0D=0Aexperience.
