SUMMARY;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Kawai Jazz Night
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Jazz: Between Brad Mehldau and Claude Debussy=0D=0A=0D=0AOn November 7th, Kawai Hamburg will transform Studio Herzlich into a=0D=0ANew York-style jazz club. For this evening, Wolf Geisler will take his=0D=0Aplace at our Shigeru Kawai SK-2—a grand piano renowned for its warm,=0D=0Asinging tone and highly responsive action. It is the perfect setting=0D=0Afor a pianist whose musical style draws inspiration from the likes of=0D=0AChick Corea, Michael Wollny, and Brad Mehldau: jazz that embraces=0D=0Aimprovisation while leaving ample room for delicate, nuanced passages.=0D=0AWolf Geisler also cites Debussy—and, as a native of Hamburg,=0D=0AJohannes Brahms—among his influences. If you appreciate jazz infused=0D=0Awith impressionistic tonal colors and romantic harmonies, look forward=0D=0Ato an evening where these genres converge.=0D=0A=0D=0AWe consider Wolf Geisler one of Hamburg’s finest jazz pianists and=0D=0Aare delighted to welcome him to Studio Herzlich. Join us for an=0D=0Aintimate evening where you can experience his performance from just a=0D=0Afew meters away—hearing every touch on the keys—and simply sit=0D=0Aback, glass of wine in hand, and let yourself drift away.=0D=0A=0D=0ASaturday, November 7, 2026=0D=0A=0D=0ADoors open at 5:00 PM; performance begins at 6:00 PM=0D=0A=0D=0AStudio Herzlich, Steinstraße 19a, Hamburg=0D=0A=0D=0AFree admission.
