SUMMARY;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Tania Saleh
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:»The idea for this album came about after I had to leave Lebanon, my=0D=0Ahomeland, and start a new life in exile,« says Lebanese=0D=0Asinger-songwriter Tania Saleh of »Fragile« – an album about loss,=0D=0Auncertainty, hope and the search for a place in this world. Together=0D=0Awith her band, she blends Arabic pop, folk, jazz and electronic=0D=0Asoundscapes into a multi-layered sound that bridges tradition and the=0D=0Apresent, making the fragility of our times audible – poignantly and=0D=0Awith great emotional intensity.=0D=0A=0D=0AThe songs draw on concrete experiences, allowing personal lyrics to=0D=0Aengage with global themes: life in exile, the feeling of alienation,=0D=0Apolitical tensions and ecological concerns – as well as questions of=0D=0Aidentity, belonging and the future. »Where is my place in this vast=0D=0Amachine?
