SUMMARY;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Tracing Movement, Preserving Identity
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:From 17 October to 6 November 2026, Pashmin Art Gallery Hamburg=0D=0Apresents the international group exhibition “Tracing Movement,=0D=0APreserving Identity”, featuring Zhang Dawo (China), Willem Vos (the=0D=0ANetherlands), Christian Autzen (Germany), and Christine Hallof=0D=0A(Sweden).=0D=0A=0D=0AThe exhibition brings together calligraphic abstraction, expressive=0D=0Afiguration, contemporary portraiture, and fluid abstraction. It=0D=0Aexplores how identity is shaped by movement, memory, personal=0D=0Aexperience, and cultural transitions.=0D=0A=0D=0AZhang Dawo transformed the tradition of Chinese calligraphy into a=0D=0Agestural and abstract visual language. Willem Vos moves between=0D=0Aabstraction and figuration, allowing faces and forms to emerge from=0D=0Alayered surfaces. Christian Autzen combines portraiture with=0D=0Aabstraction and material experimentation, frequently incorporating=0D=0Agold, rust, and patina. Working with watercolour and coloured pencil,=0D=0AChristine Hallof creates flowing organic structures inspired by=0D=0Ageological and biological forms.=0D=0A=0D=0ATogether, the four artistic positions present identity not as=0D=0Asomething fixed, but as an ongoing process of transformation and=0D=0Arenewal.=0D=0A=0D=0ACurated by Nour Nouri, the exhibition opens on Saturday, 17 October=0D=0A2026, at 19:00. The opening reception will include an art lecture by=0D=0ADr. Davood Khazaie.=0D=0A=0D=0AExhibition period:=0D=0A=0D=0A17 October–6 November 2026=0D=0A=0D=0AOpening reception:=0D=0A=0D=0ASaturday, 17 October 2026, at 19:00=0D=0A=0D=0AVenue:=0D=0A=0D=0APashmin Art Gallery=0D=0A=0D=0AGotenstraße 21=0D=0A=0D=0A20097 Hamburg, Germany=0D=0A
