SUMMARY;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Khan (AU), Skin Thief (AU)
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:The Australian progressive heavy psych band **KHAN** is delighted to=0D=0Abring its “That Fair and Warlike Form” tour to Europe. A total of=0D=0A20 shows are scheduled for September and October. The Melbourne-based=0D=0Atrio blends hazy psychedelic soundscapes with heavy stoner riffs,=0D=0Aprogressive rhythms and almost sluggish, massive crescendos. Their=0D=0Asongs create an intense, profound atmosphere and evoke powerful=0D=0Aemotional responses – ranging from eerie melancholy to overwhelming,=0D=0Aalmost otherworldly awe. Vocally, they range from ethereal falsetto to=0D=0Ahypnotic crooning, passionate screaming and occasional guttural=0D=0Agrowls.=0D=0AIn October 2025, KHAN released their critically acclaimed fourth=0D=0Astudio album, ‘That Fair and Warlike Form // Return to Dust’, via=0D=0AFull Contact Safari Records. The concept album consists of two=0D=0A23-minute tracks and tells the story of the sufferings of a man=0D=0Apossessed by the spirit of Erlik, the god of death from=0D=0ATurkic-Mongolian mythology. On their upcoming European tour, the band=0D=0Anow aims to present the album live to European audiences for the first=0D=0Atime since its release. At their gig at Bambi galore in Hamburg, they=0D=0Awill be joined by the progressive post-metal trio Skin Thief, who are=0D=0Aalso from Australia.=0D=0A=0D=0A**SKIN THIEF** are an instrumental trio playing a progressive style of=0D=0Apost-metal. Heavy, bass-driven riffs meet angular rhythms that=0D=0Arepeatedly give way to dark, hypnotic atmospheres. The songs meander=0D=0Athrough introspective soundscapes and often build up to explosive=0D=0Acrescendos. Their latest album, “Frozen in the Act of Breaking”,=0D=0Awas released in 2025, also via Full Contact Safari Records; the band=0D=0Asubsequently toured Australia, supporting KHAN on their tour. The=0D=0Aupcoming tour will be Skin Thief’s first ever European tour.=0D=0A=0D=0A---=0D=0A=0D=0A**Concession Ticket**=0D=0A=0D=0AFor school pupils, students, apprentices and people on low incomes.=0D=0APlaces are limited.
