SUMMARY;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:BEYOND OVERWHELM
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Beyond Overwhelm relates to embodied learning circles with clear links=0D=0Ato social change, aiming to practice together and empower their=0D=0Amembers to gain agency and take action. =0D=0A=0D=0AThis workshop deliberately addresses the body and practicing together=0D=0Aas a collective political practice, accessing the collective wisdom of=0D=0Aa group. In this workshop, we are going to explore how working=0D=0Acultures under capitalism are creating a sense of overwhelm in our=0D=0Anervous systems, and furthermore, how we can cultivate embodied=0D=0Aresistance. The session offers tools for coming out of overwhelm as a=0D=0Afoundation for building relational strategies and counteracting=0D=0Aindividualization; exploring why this is necessary for political=0D=0Aagency while refraiming activism. =0D=0A=0D=0AThrough body-based practices, collective inquiry and imagination, this=0D=0Aworkshop gives space to explore the participant's lived environment=0D=0Aand how practices of connection, care and existing otherwise could be=0D=0Abrought into it.=0D=0A=0D=0AFOR PROFESSIONAL DANCE PRACTITIONERS | WORKSHOP IN ENGLISH; GERMAN=0D=0ATRANSLATION AVAILABLE=0D=0A
