SUMMARY;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Federico Colli / Piano Recital
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:»Federico Colli is careful to seduce his listeners before completely=0D=0Acaptivating them«, writes »The Times« about the Italian pianist,=0D=0Awho opens the »Pianomania« series. Alongside piano sonatas by=0D=0ADomenico Scarlatti, Colli performs Mozart’s much-loved sonata=0D=0Afeaturing the famous »Rondo alla turca«.=0D=0A=0D=0AIn recognition of his outstanding musical achievements, Colli was=0D=0Arecently appointed a Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian=0D=0ARepublic. The pianist is deeply passionate about the music of his=0D=0Ahomeland. Of Scarlatti, he says: »Scarlatti is a composer very close=0D=0Ato my heart, not only because he is Italian, but because, for me, he=0D=0Aembodies the ideal of a great master.«=0D=0A=0D=0AWith two acclaimed albums devoted to Scarlatti, Colli is the ideal=0D=0Achoice to open »Pianomania« with a concert placing the composer’s=0D=0Asonatas centre stage. His exceptional expressive power and sparkling=0D=0Aenergy in Mozart are evident on two further albums, as well as in his=0D=0Avictory at the International Mozart Competition in Salzburg. Of the=0D=0Acomposer, Colli says: »Mozart is undoubtedly a great friend of=0D=0Amine.«=0D=0A=0D=0APERFORMERS=0D=0A=0D=0AFEDERICO COLLI piano=0D=0A=0D=0APROGRAM=0D=0A=0D=0ADOMENICO SCARLATTI=0D=0ASonata in F minor, K 19=0D=0A=0D=0ADOMENICO SCARLATTI=0D=0ASonata in D minor, K 9=0D=0A=0D=0ADOMENICO SCARLATTI=0D=0ASonata in D minor, K 32=0D=0A=0D=0ALEOŠ JANÁČEK=0D=0A1.
