SUMMARY;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Händel: Israel in Egypt
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:It could have been the beginning of a wonderful friendship between=0D=0Apeoples: Joseph, a gifted Hebrew from rural Canaan, rose from a=0D=0Aposition of slavery in Egypt to one of great influence at the=0D=0APharaoh’s court. Thus, the ancestors of the twelve=0D=0Atribes of Israel settle in Egypt in the hope of safety and a better=0D=0Alife.=0D=0A=0D=0APERFORMERS=0D=0A=0D=0AHAMBURG.BAROQUE ensemble=0D=0A=0D=0ACARL-PHILIPP-EMANUEL-BACH-CHOR HAMBURG choir=0D=0A=0D=0ACPE.BACH.YOUNG ARTISTS=0D=0A=0D=0ALAURAINCKO soprano=0D=0A=0D=0AMARIAHEGELE alto=0D=0A=0D=0AKILIANBRANDSCHERDT tenor=0D=0A=0D=0AJAKOBSCHAD bass=0D=0A=0D=0AHANSJÖRG ALBRECHT harpsichord and director=0D=0A=0D=0APROGRAM=0D=0A=0D=0AGEORG FRIEDRICH HÄNDEL=0D=0AIsrael in Egypt=0D=0A=0D=0AThe concert takes place without an interval.=0D=0A=0D=0A =0D=0A
