In different ways, both artists=0D=0Aexplore mirroring and reflection as forms of engaging with the present=0D=0Amoment.=0D=0A=0D=0AHeike Baltruweit presents completely unedited photographs created as=0D=0Aone-shot images – without cropping, post-processing, staging or=0D=0Aadditional lighting. The composition is determined at the exact moment=0D=0Athe photograph is taken and remains unchanged afterwards. Whatever=0D=0Abecomes visible in that moment remains part of the image.=0D=0A=0D=0AJohannes Hartmann carries this idea forward in his painting. His=0D=0Agestural abstract works move between meditative reduction and=0D=0Apowerful, at times explosive movement. At the same time, they can=0D=0Aappear weightless, open and light. Hartmann understands his painting=0D=0Aas a seismographic translation of preconscious inner impulses, making=0D=0Atensions, transitions and moments of pause visible.=0D=0A=0D=0AThe popstreet.shop gallery presents Pop, Street and Urban Art by a=0D=0Arange of artists.
