The=0D=0A‘Recipes from Around the World’ cookery workshop is all about=0D=0Acooking together and using food as an opportunity for cultural=0D=0Aexchange. =0D=0A=0D=0AParticipants plan their menu together and prepare dishes from=0D=0Adifferent countries – using fresh ingredients, right at the hob, and=0D=0Awith plenty of opportunity to get involved. Whilst chopping, seasoning=0D=0Aand cooking, conversations arise about eating habits, origins, and the=0D=0Adifferences and similarities between cultures. =0D=0A=0D=0AIn the process, participants discover new ingredients and flavours and=0D=0Again an appreciation of just how diverse food can be across different=0D=0Acultures. Along the way, they pick up practical, easy-to-understand=0D=0Aand everyday-relevant knowledge about nutrition. Food brings people=0D=0Atogether – and that is exactly what the “Recipes from Around the=0D=0AWorld” workshop is all about.=0D=0A=0D=0AThrough the “HipHop & Health – Move, Eat, Stay Fit” project,=0D=0Awe’ve taken on this theme and launched this ongoing workshop.
