It is characterised by=0D=0Astream-of-consciousness descriptions of recorded sound;=0D=0Apseudo-intellectual ramblings underpinned by hobbling instrumental=0D=0Apulses; speakers talking to floors; transcendental climaxes squeezed=0D=0Athrough MIDI timbres; paranoid associations between musical details=0D=0Aand religious hegemonies; decadent rituals pairing Wagnerian harmony=0D=0Awith fine cheese.=0D=0A=0D=0AEMERGE will present his new album "leere" consisting of=0D=0Afield-recordings of an abandoned mall. The field-recordings are=0D=0Are-worked and the set is played partly improvised using all the=0D=0Aoriginal samples, which are looped, mixed together and treated with=0D=0Aeffects.=0D=0A=0D=0ASascha Stadlmeier (b. 1977) has been releasing electroacoustic music=0D=0Awith his project EMERGE on international labels such as Drone Records,=0D=0ATâalem, aufabwegen and Frozen Light since 2001. He is a composer=0D=0Aworking at the intersections of musique concrète, drone, and noise.=0D=0ACollaborations with other musicians from a very wide range of styles=0D=0Aform an important part of his work. He has been touring Europe=0D=0Aextensively and his music has been presented at many international=0D=0Afestivals. While being a prolific composer and performer, Stadlmeier=0D=0Ahas also created various sound installations and a radiophonic=0D=0Acomposition for West German Radio's renowned Studio of Acoustic Art.=0D=0A
