SUMMARY;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Hello Image. The Staging of Things
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:A product derives its success in part from its branding through=0D=0Ahigh-impact images. So it must be showcased in just the right way in=0D=0Aadvertising campaigns and photo spreads. But how is this targeted=0D=0Avisual language created? How do designers, photographers, graphic=0D=0Aartists and companies work together to achieve it? Who decides what=0D=0Athe visual identity of a brand should look like? And how do these=0D=0Avisuals then affect us? The exhibition “Hello Image: The Staging of=0D=0AThings” explores the collaboration between creative talents from the=0D=0Afields of design, photography and graphic art by presenting design=0D=0Aobjects and fashion items alongside their staging in both photographs=0D=0Aand illustrations. Eight chapters tell exemplary stories about product=0D=0Aand advertising design from the early twentieth century to the=0D=0Apresent. On display are design classics by Marianne Brandt, Charles=0D=0Aand Ray Eames and Ettore Sottsass, fashion classics by Martin Margiela=0D=0Aand Issey Miyake as well as exciting new discoveries, for example by=0D=0Athe photographer Ingeborg Rams and the graphic designer Lora Lamm,=0D=0Aamong many others.=0D=0A
