Rapid role changes and music are characteristic of this production, which focuses on Woyzeck: Who was he and what circumstances made him a murderer? Voices are looped over each other and dark beats, distorted guitar sounds, scraps of speech and noises intensify, driving the plot forward and making the protagonist's madness palpable. Since its premiere at Theater Itzehoe in September 2022, the play has already been performed with great success in front of numerous school classes. Woyzeck has been central school-leaving examination material since 2022.
