The Wool Festival invites you to the Market and Event Hall. A craft fair featuring wool, yarns, knitting, and crocheting, complete with a knitting café where you can relax.
The Wool Festival is a nationwide craft fair that tours Germany, focusing on wool, yarns, and textile crafts. On August 29 and 30, 2026, the fair will be held at the Market and Event Hall in Wismar. Visitors can expect a wide variety of materials for knitting, crocheting, and other DIY techniques—ranging from natural to hand-dyed wool—along with fabrics, sewing supplies, and accessories. Exhibitors will offer their products for visitors to touch and compare in person, a far cry from anonymous online shopping.
In the Knitting Café, visitors can relax, work on their own crafts, and chat with others. Feel free to bring your own drinks and light snacks to chat in peace and stay a little longer.
Admission: Day pass starting at €8.00; free for children under 14.
