The fifth Eutin Wine Festival – Fine wines on the historic market square
When sunflowers bloom and late summer glows golden, it's time for the Eutin Wine Festival in the historic market square. From August 28th to 30th , 2025, it promises to be another special experience for all connoisseurs. Visitors can expect live music paired with a diverse selection of wines from vintners throughout Germany, as well as culinary specialties and delicacies. Numerous comfortable seating options and a pleasant atmosphere invite you to linger – right in the heart of the city, yet far removed from the stresses of everyday life.
This year's wine selection ranges from local suppliers such as Gut Ingenhof from Malkwitz and Weingeist from Eutin to various winemakers from all over Germany, and even includes the Austrian winery Elfenhof.
The diverse wine selection is complemented by culinary highlights such as scampi, cheese platters, and tarte flambée. In addition, potato specialties, Syrian delicacies, and a variety of Swabian "Dinnete" pizzas are offered. Classics like bratwurst, fries, and currywurst are also available. For those who prefer something sweet with their wine, churros from the local vendor tohuus and a crêpe and Muzen stand are on offer. Those who prefer a refreshing beer from the Eutin brewery, an authentic Aperol Spritz, fragrant coffee, or soft drinks will also find what they're looking for.
The perfect ambiance is lovingly created with numerous rustic decorative elements, fairy lights, sunflowers, and grapevines. An impressive truss canopy with a twelve-meter diameter not only provides protection from the rain but also serves as a visual focal point and enhances the atmosphere. It sits atop a striking arched stage, which commands attention with its distinctive design, providing an elegant platform for the musical program.

The wine festival can be visited on Friday and Saturday, August 28th & 29th, from 11am to 10pm and on Sunday, August 31st, from 11am to 7pm .
