A magical story for young and old: Siblings Jim and Liv grow up on a farm surrounded by nature. They love nothing more than roaming through the woods together, encountering foxes, owls, and badgers, and experiencing all sorts of adventures. The two children are inseparable. But as they grow older, they drift apart, and their paths diverge: Liv moves to the city and wants to become an artist, while Jim takes over the family farm. He's so busy there that he doesn't even make it to his sister's wedding. For many years, the two hear nothing of each other, until one day a fire breaks out on the farm. Jim faces ruin. But Liv has a plan to save her brother. Imaginative, touching, and full of humor, director Julia Friede has brought the play to the stage. "Our Wild Years" tells of the close connection between humans and nature and of two siblings who, despite all their differences, are there for each other.
