OVERJAZZ FESTIVAL 2024
Since 2010, the ÜBERJAZZ Festival has been presenting music off the beaten track at Kampnagel in the autumn - parallel each evening in four halls that can be visited with one ticket. The post-genre festival shows how new, contemporary music is created from jazz, soul, hip hop, ambient and other advanced styles and has invited influential artists to Hamburg several times at the beginning of their careers.
We enter a place of encounters and dialogue, genre boundaries are penetrated and the tasteful curation allows the chance for discovery and regular awakening experiences.
In 2024, the line-up ranges from legends such as New Age pioneer Laraaji or AACM member and Ethnic Heritage Ensemble founder Kahil El'Zabar, to currently influential thinkers such as Swedish musician Sven Wunderlich or Grammy-nominated drummer and producer Kassa Overall, to the futuristic sound spheres of saxophonist Cole Pulice or political artist and musician Moor Mother.
At ÜBERJAZZ you can live out your discovery gene, especially when names in the line-up don't mean much, you can trust the tasteful curation and have the chance to have regular awakening experiences.
