Equipped with historical sources from the 1920s, 1950s and 1970s, we look at the history of the St. Pauli district through queer glasses. We explore the traces of transgender life, visit locations then and now, and learn about trans people and their stories. We lead you to places that shaped the everyday lives of queer people or that for a long time offered the only spaces for visibility and show how their stories still influence us today.
