On May 6, 2026 at 7 p.m., Bettina Tietjen (presenter and bestselling author) will finally be on the road again and present her new book with her most beautiful and funniest camping trips in the Stadthalle.
The popular NDR presenter talks about her travel experiences with lots of adventures between two voracious possums and balloon-silk neighbors. Whether on the endless roads of Australia, on the wild coast of Brittany or at night in the German Finsterwald. With a great deal of humor, charm and an eye for the extraordinary, she tells of bizarre encounters, curious experiences and special moments of happiness. She not only provides insights into camping with celebrities, but also reveals how to cook simply and deliciously on the road.
Her new book will be published in April and will also be available with an autograph at the book table of the "ludwigs.buch" bookshop on this evening.
As a talk show host, Bettina Tietjen has been on the red sofa since 1993 with the hit show "DAS" and enjoys legendary status. Charming, funny and with legendary fits of laughter, she has now talked to almost every celebrity. Since 2020, she has also been on the road several times with her motorhome at various campsites in MV as part of the "Tietjen campt" series.
Bettina Tietjen first appeared in Ludwigslust in 2017 with her book "Unter Tränen gelacht" at the invitation of the city library. This was followed by her book "Tietjen auf Tour" in 2019 and "Früher war ich auch mal jung" in 2022, which she wonderfully presented to the Ludwigslust audience in the town hall. Since then, Ludwigslust has been one of the places where her first readings have taken place, including this year.
The association "Freundeskreis der Stadtbibliothek Ludwigslust i.G." is the organizer.
Admission costs €20. Advance ticket sales are now possible at the Ludwigslust town library, at "ludwigs.buch", at the bookshop in Grabow, at the Neustadt-Glewe town library and at optician Kay Stehr.
