It all began in January 2025. Thees Uhlmann played a five-day residency at the St. Pauli Theater in Hamburg. This was followed by a completely sold-out tour with performances in concert halls, theaters, and venues in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Around 25,000 visitors attended the 25 concerts, which were themed around the compilation album »Sincerely, Thees Uhlmann – Das Beste von Tomte bis heute« (Sincerely, Thees Uhlmann – The Best of Tomte to Date). The musician and author played the concerts completely solo. For the finale of this journey, exactly one year later, Uhlmann returns to Hamburg, once again to the harbor. Where else would he go?
