"Today we play power"

a work-in-progress theater performance by the FLINTA theater group from Rostock
on 08.03.2025 at 5 pm in the courtroom of Rehna Monastery

For International Women's Day, the theater group FLINTA from Rostock is presenting a work-in-progress performance of their play "Heute spielen wir Macht". The play deals in theatrical form with the demands of feminist movements for structural changes, and the theater group also brings the topic of power relations between the sexes in society to the stage. It is directed by theater teacher Nefeli Angeloglou and singing and music teacher Bella Nick.

The project is being developed in cooperation with the Rostock women's cultural association "Die Beginen". The association ensures that women* are publicly present in culture and beyond and organizes events, exhibitions and projects on current topics with a feminist, intercultural and artistic perspective.

The performance is followed by a discussion with the theater people. There is also the option of booking food from the caterer WhatsCooking.
