On this herb tour with Anne-Katrin Schmiedehaus-Engel through the open-air museum, visitors learn all kinds of interesting and mystical facts about the power of flowers, leaves and roots, about vitamins and nature's little medicine chest.
Ms. Schmiedehaus-Engel runs a naturopathic practice and a herbal school. She organizes interesting guided tours through the meadows on the museum grounds, where you can discover, experience and taste our local medicinal and wild herbs. Depending on the season, the weather and by arrangement, participants can experience their own special herbal experience.
This is one of several seasonal herb walks that take place on a fixed, publicly announced date. The meeting point is at the museum ticket office. Interested parties only pay the regular museum admission fee for this public tour, no extra costs for the herb walk.

Ms. Schmiedehaus-Engel can offer guided tours on other dates and a variety of herb courses. Costs for a non-public guided tour: Adults 12 euros each plus reduced museum admission 3.50 euros each, children and young people up to 17 years 6.00 euros each plus reduced museum admission 1.50 euros each. For children's and school groups, two accompanying adults have free admission to the museum. Herbal workshops and courses with Ms. Schmiedehaus-Engel on various topics usually cost 25 EURO per person plus 3.50 EURO reduced admission to the museum.
