“Among artists, the term ‘Mugge’ refers to a ‘musical side gig,’” explains singer-songwriter Wolfgang Kniep. Together with singer Anke Gohsmann, he has been performing on stages across the state for 20 years, much to the delight of fans of the Low German language. One of the places they regularly and happily return to is the CampHus Ludwigslust, run by Volkssolidarität Schwerin – Westmecklenburg e. V., located at Bürgermeister-Brandenburg-Straße 20.
Reason enough to present their so-called “Best of Anke and Wolfgang.” The two stage professionals demonstrate their down-to-earth nature through songs, recitations, and skits—all under the motto “Besinnen un Smüstern.” Of course, they’ll do everything they can in this program to make their audience laugh heartily. “Witty—amusing and clever—anecdotes from Muggerleben naturally punctuate our performance,” announces Wolfgang Kniep.
