Nighttime Amber Hunting with a UV Light.

Black light shows the beach in a whole new light—glowing blue, pink, or white. Under UV light, you can discover the beach in a whole new way. Amber hunters, in particular, take advantage of this. But microplastics, seashells, and mushrooms also glow in entirely new colors. Join us as the geologists from the GeoPark Nordisches Steinreich introduce you to the art of nighttime collecting with UV light.

UV lamps are available for loan.

Recommended for ages 5 and up.
