The CPE Bach Museum houses a Friederici clavichord by Martin Kather – the composer's favorite instrument. Since 2023, students from the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre have been using it again, much to the delight of the museum's operators. For nothing offers a better way to connect with composers and their era than engaging with their instrument.
