    Summer, sun, summer vacation: Now is the time for adventure.
    In the castles and museums of the State Castles, Gardens, and Art Collections of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (SSGK M-V), exciting stories, creative hands-on activities, and surprising discoveries await vacation guests of all ages. Whether on an animal safari in the castle, following in the footsteps of princesses and dukes, playing Baroque games, going on a moonlight hike, or in the art workshop—there’s no room for boredom here.

    July 28, 4:00 p.m.
    ROYAL GIFTS
    What kind of gifts did a king actually give his relatives for Christmas, and what was on a prince’s birthday table? We’ll explore this and more in the Silver Chamber at the palace, where you can marvel at magnificent “Royal Gifts” made of porcelain.

    HEROES, GODS, MYTHICAL CREATURES
    Will Iwein defeat the dragon in battle, and what is inside Pandora’s mysterious box? On a tour through the castle, we’ll encounter numerous figures from ancient and medieval legends and learn their exciting stories.

    STORIES IN THE CASTLE
    On a tour through the castle’s living quarters and state rooms, we’ll admire the beautiful interior design and some of the artworks on display. The children will also learn interesting facts about the lives of the castle’s former residents.

    PRINCE AND PRINCESS—A LIFE LIKE IN A FAIRY TALE?
