Summer Reading Fun

  • for families and kids

at the Schwerin City Library

Students in grades 4 through 6 can once again sign up for the “FerienLeseLust” summer reading campaign at the library in the Klöresgang and at the Neu Zippendorf neighborhood library, and immediately dive into exciting, funny, or adventurous stories. Once a book has been read, students answer a few written questions about it. They can also create a character profile or make a collage—there are no limits to their imagination. These projects and the reading logs can be turned in by August 28. Even for just one book successfully read, participants will receive a certificate that can be presented in German class after summer break.

All participants are automatically invited to the closing party in September, where they’ll receive their reading certificates. There will also be a raffle for tickets to an exclusive surprise movie screening.
