Spring awakening

Schwerin celebrates the start of the summer of culture and gardens with a street festival. Imaginative cabaret, music and theater performances enchant visitors to Schwerin's city center, while fantastic figures and characters in historical costumes stroll through the streets. The Spring Awakening heralds the start of the eighth season of Schwerin's Summer of Culture and Gardens. On Saturday, artists, musicians, clowns and mythical creatures take over the market and streets of the city center and give a turbulent foretaste of a summer full of culture, art and entertainment. Many houses will be tempting visitors with special offers on this day.
