Even in the cold season, it's time to sharpen your senses! On our special winter city tour, the Winter Sensory Tour through Hamburg's Speicherstadt and Hafencity, you'll experience the historic yet modern Hamburg up close.
What does the harbor smell like? Can you taste Hamburg? Who or what are Quiddjes? What's the deal with the pepper sacks? We begin our tour in the historic part of the harbor, the UNESCO World Heritage Site Speicherstadt. Here, we take a look at old brick warehouses and are enchanted by a quaint courtyard.
We will take you back to Hamburg of days long gone with small and surprising touch, smell and taste experiences.
We take these sensory impressions with us on our journey to the modern HafenCity – a contrast beyond compare. Here we see how a former port area has gradually developed into an urban living space and will continue to develop.
