Shkoon are Thorben Diekmann and Ameen Khayer, a Syrian-German duo that formed in Hamburg in 2015. In their music, Arabic folklore, singing and rap encounter western electronic music. With this danceable mix – Shkoon calls it »musical diplomacy« – the duo is successful worldwide and has been on the road with its »Greater than One« tour between Doha and Toronto, Beirut and Paris since December 2024.
