The Hamburg State Youth Choir invites you to an extraordinary a cappella concert: "Ruh'n Sie" (Rest) – a musical journey from dusk to the first light of dawn. Under the direction of Prof. Cornelius Trantow, young, exceptionally trained voices present a multifaceted program with works by Monteverdi, Bach, Saint-Saëns, Brahms, Kodály, Distler, and Buchenberg.
In the atmospheric Hall 424 in the Oberhafen harbor, sound and light blend together: Special light projections accompany the concert, creating the illusion of twilight, the starry sky, and dawn. Let this special venue take you on an emotional and sonorous nighttime journey through centuries of vocal music.
