Reading Is Good for You—The "FerienLeseLust" Program Begins!

  • for families and kids
  • Free of charge

Two weeks before the start of summer vacation, the “FerienLeseLust” program kicks off again this year on June 29, 2026, at the Grevesmühlen City Library. The program is open to students in grades 4–6. There are lots of great new children’s novels and comics waiting for them, which can only be borrowed by reading club participants. Whether it’s adventure, fantasy, mystery, or stories about friendship—there’s something for everyone. Participation is free. Registration requires parental or guardian consent. What makes the “FerienLeseLust” special is that for every book you read, you’ll get a stamp in your reading log. There’s plenty of time to go on lots of reading adventures until the end of the “FerienLeseLust” on August 28, 2026. At a closing party to be held in September, every participant will receive a certificate and a great prize. Come to the city library and sign up: It’s worth taking part—and reading is fun, too!
