Ray Wilson: Genesis Classic

Thursday, 08/10/2026 / 12:00 AM / Der Speicher

RAY WILSON, the ex-singer of GENESIS, presents the greatest hits from the band's history and his solo career.

Ray Wilson, former singer of the legendary rock band Genesis, presents the greatest hits from the band's history and selected songs from his solo career. With his unmistakable voice - known from the Genesis album "Calling All Stations", one of the band's most successful albums - he interprets classics and personal songs in new arrangements. The program combines the progressive rock phase of Genesis with the great pop hits of the 70s to 90s. Titles such as "No Son of Mine", "Carpet Crawlers" and "Mama" meet songs from "Calling All Stations" such as "Congo", "Not About Us" or "Shipwrecked". Pieces from Wilson's solo career are also part of the evening. Ray Wilson started his international career with the band Stiltskin and the worldwide number 1 hit "Inside" before becoming the singer of Genesis in 1997 and going on a major stadium tour with the band. Today he is regarded as a charismatic singer with an extraordinary stage presence.
