Rafał Blechacz / Piano Recital

  • from 13.00€ to 48.00€

With no other composer is the mazurka so closely associated as with Frédéric Chopin. At the age of 15, he wrote his first mazurka; almost 60 more were to follow in the course of his life. In them, Chopin expressed his sense of home and his national pride, his yearning for Poland and his family. At the same time, he transformed the dance into art music. With the 2005 Chopin Competition winner, Rafał Blechacz, we have acquired conceivably the best interpreter of this repertoire to close the »Pianomania« series.
