The PLAY - CREATIVE GAMING FESTIVAL invites all enthusiasts for gameculture and interactive arts on November 11-16, 2024, to explore the creative potentials of games in a hybrid form online and on site at JUPITER Hamburg (Mönckebergstraße 2-4). Workshops, exhibitions, shows, the Creative Gaming Awards and playful community formats offer a week of participation, discussion, programming, exploration, and, of course, gaming.
In this year's international exhibition we want to explore how politics and games influence each other and tell opinions through experiences. "You got the Power!" - Cool, but let's check how you got it and what you can do with it. Is it through wisdom, riches, muscle or even privilege? Games can be empowering, but can also make you loose that power, make you feel helpless. Oh wait - You want to loose it? We are looking for experimental and playful formats to interactively engage in and discover the different focal points of that theme. PLAY once again offers festival visitors a range of experimental and playful formats with which they can interactively experience and explore the different focal points of the topic.
