Picture tour lecture: 1400 kilometers border ride along the former inner-German border

Their journey opened the doors of their hosts to them day after day.
In his presentation, the trail rider from Baden-Württemberg gives a vivid and authentic account of what his hosts in the former 500-meter security strip east of the border told him about their life with the border. Martin Stellberger was particularly interested in how people in the former GDR border area lived behind the wall and barbed wire, how they dealt with mines, barbed wire, firing orders and border troops, and how they experienced the fall of communism.
