The Elbe beaver is a fascinating animal.
As a true hydraulic engineer, it shapes its environment according to its own needs, creating unique landscapes shaped by the beaver. During the circular hike, the ranger will show you in many places why "Master Bockert" is also known as an "eco-engineer" and why the large rodent, despite its population recovery, is still an endangered species.
We recommend provisions, weatherproof clothing and binoculars.
