Organ Concert with Cantor Christian Thadewald-Friedrich at St. Nikolai

The organ concert brings the successful Wednesday concert series at St. Nikolai in Wismar to a close.

On September 9, Wismar cantor Christian Thadewald-Friedrich will give a concert at

7:30 p.m. at St. Nikolai Church. As is tradition, he always performs an organ concerto from the

Wednesday concert series, which has been successful and well-established for many years.

Guests can once again look forward to a special highlight: the console of the large Men-

de organ (built in 1845) will be projected onto a screen inside the church. In addition,

a “surprise piece” for two organs is planned. The program will also feature works

by English, French, and German Romantic composers.
