NetzWERKE: Monuments & Infrastructure
On Open Monument Day, the focus is on experiencing and exploring the Baroque palace complex.
From 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., our tour guides will be waiting for you at the museum. In various rooms, they’ll discuss the following topics: stucco and architectural history, Bothmer’s life in London, the lords of Bothmer, the GDR era and the retirement home, the park, and Festonallee.
5:00 p.m.: Lecture by Steffen Siefert in the ballroom: “300 Years Since Construction Began on Bothmer Castle”
All day: Creative activities, craft station, children’s library, and Baroque games in the museum education rooms
Admission and the program are free on this day.
